How Close Are the Broads?
Brundall marina, where you can hire day boats, is under 3 miles away. The Norfolk Broads National Park boundary is roughly 4 miles from the door. RSPB Strumpshaw Fen, one of the finest nature reserves in East Anglia, is about 10 minutes by car. The River Yare runs through the landscape south of Lingwood, connecting you to the wider Broads waterway network.
Our Accommodation
We offer three guest room types — double, twin, and family — plus self-catering barns sleeping 4 to 6 guests. The barns are particularly suited to Broads holidays, giving you space to store wet weather gear, walking boots, and binoculars. Kitchens are fully equipped for self-catering, and there is free parking for boats on trailers by arrangement.

The location works for day-boat hire from Brundall or Wroxham, riverside walks along the Wherryman's Way, cycling on quiet Broadland lanes, and wildlife watching at Strumpshaw Fen, Ranworth Broad, or Hickling Broad. Norwich is 20 minutes west for evenings out, restaurants, and culture.
